This video shows two personal first descents of the Upper Yough river in whitewater kayaks. This river is a classic proving ground for budding class IV/V boaters. It's technical, steep, and incredibly fun. I'm not sharing a ton of how-to here because of the hazardous nature of the run- if you're getting ready for your first run, be sure that you have the experience to tackle this river. First timers should find an experienced friend or guide, as there are several hazards.
As always, safety first- and thanks for watching!
