Here we are goinmg to visit now after we have seen the statue from “Manneken Pis”, the “City Hall” the “Chapel on the Wall of Geraardsbergen”.
The “Wall of Geraardsbergen” is an incline and street on the “Oudenberg” used in the cycling race “Tour of Flanders” this from 1973 until 2011.
In the year 1940 the “Oudenberg” became a protection as “Landscape”, and in the year 1995 they called the famous incline a “Monument”.
In the middle of the 18th century they get started the building of the Chapel on the “Oudenberg”, which is on this moment also a place of pilgrimage, worth a visit, certainly the inside and also the outside for the fantastic view you have over the region.
