Why Is Anos Voldigoad a Misfit?
He comes into the world with the power of a god. But no one believes his claim to be who he is.
He comes back to age-old hatred between the races that he thought would've died out with him. His people are now divided and fighting into social classes.
And history has been altered to the point lies and falsehoods are now well-accepted truth.
Anos is good at everything because, well, he created practically everything; this world's ancient spells, techniques, and technology.
But it's what he does with his power that I enjoy so much from this show.
I look forward to watching Anos Voldigoad, The Misfit at Demon King Academy covers the mystery of what's happened while he was dead.
What interests me the most is how overpowered he is and why that works.
I believe his circumstances are great examples of how stories with overpowered characters are written well.
It'll take more than the power to conjure the sun or stop time to correct history and change people's minds.
This is why I enjoy Anos and believe this is how extremely powerful characters can shine in any story.
They're best when they encounter obstacles they don't have the tools to deal with.
