HIKVision 8 channel CCTV NVR teardown. What's inside?
I take apart a HIKvision CCTV network video recorder to see what's inside. Not much actually; just a small PCB with a custom chip, some RAM, ethernet chips and not a right lot else. A short video if you are curious what's inside this kind of equipment but don't want to take it apart yourself.
This unit can run up to 8 IP cameras powered from Power over Ethernet.
