eCognition Deconstructed: Text Recognition
Learn about how to use the "Text Recognition (OCR)" algorithm implemented since v10.3 in the Trimble eCognition Software.
This algorithm is based on optical character recognition (OCR) technology and recognizes text in a selected image layer or region and converts it into text information. The default installation of eCognition currently includes only the English language. The extracted text is stored in a user-defined variable.
