A 94-year-old Holocaust survivor talks about Auschwitz. This 94-year-old Holocaust witness survived Auschwitz:
At the age of 14, the Holocaust survivor was deported to Auschwitz with her family in July 1944. I had the greatest honor of interviewing this 94-year-old Auschwitz survivor as part of my peace project "Life wisdom from 100-year-olds": This contemporary witness tells us today:
How she experienced the beginning of National Socialism in Hungary.
How they had to move to ghettos in the spring of 1944 and were crammed into cattle wagons and deported to Auschwitz in July 1944
How she survived the arrival in Auschwitz and the selection
How she survived everyday life in Auschwitz-Birkenau in the summer of 1944
How she survived another selection and forced labor in a munitions factory as a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp
How she survived a 3-week death march
How she was liberated at the end of April 1945 and built her life.

Unfortunately, I have to announce on behalf of the daughter that Mrs. Gabriella Goldmann died in hospital on October 4, 2024, 16 days after this interview, due to a hospital germ...

This interview was published not only in memory of Ms. Goldmann, but also in commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz, which will be the 80th anniversary on January 27, 2025.

Mrs. Goldmann was one of the very last survivors of the Holocaust. According to my own research, which lasted for weeks, Mrs. Goldmann was one of about 5-7 survivors in the German-speaking area who survived Auschwitz.

Together with my mother as camerawoman, I had the incredible honor of being able to interview Ms. Goldmann after prior arrangement on September 18, 2024 and to record this contemporary witness document as part of my peace project “Life Wisdom of 100-Year-Olds”.

Not only because of the sudden death of Mrs. Goldmann, but also in memory of the more than 6 million murdered Jews, I waive any advertising revenue in this video, just as is the case with the broadcast of “Schindler’s List” on free TV.

There, too, no advertisements are shown due to the deepest respect and utmost reverence for the Holocaust.

In times like these, when polarization, violence and extremism are driving the division of society, Ms. Goldmann tells us how important solidarity, charity and humanity are for peace in the world.

Let us work together to ensure that we use our strength to help other people up and not to push them down. Let us keep Ms. Goldmann's message and wish alive...

Life wisdom from 100-year-olds.

I - Daniel Pleunik, qualified health and nursing professional - have already had the honor of interviewing over twenty 100-year-old people and recording their valuable life stories and life wisdom. (As of January 12, 2025)

I am conducting these interviews with 100-year-old contemporary witnesses in addition to my job as a nurse for three reasons:
1) To contribute to world peace
2) To ensure that history does not repeat itself
3) To encourage young people to be human, respectful & vigilant through the stories of contemporary witnesses.

“If you want to know the path ahead, ask those who are coming back.” - Chinese proverb.

If you find my peace project "Life stories & wisdom of 100-year-old people" valuable, please subscribe to my channel. I promise to treat your time and trust with respect.
