100-year-old war veteran talks about Stalingrad
A 100-year-old war veteran tells of Stalingrad. This 100-year-old witness survived the Second World War on the Eastern Front. The 100-year-old was drafted in 1941 and came to Russia in 1942. In 1944 he was taken prisoner and had to march with 50,000 other prisoners through Moscow in the spring of 1944.
From May 1944 to November 1947 he was a prisoner of war in Stalingrad.
I had the great honor of interviewing this 100-year-old survivor of Stalingrad. This 100-year-old WWII veteran tells us today:
