Surrounded by layered greens and expansive estate views, the villa unfolds through thoughtfully curated indoor and outdoor spaces—intimate corners for stillness, open terraces for conversation, and settings that encourage guests to slow down, breathe, and truly arrive. Every space is designed to dissolve the boundary between shelter and landscape, allowing time to soften and presence to take hold.
What began as a chance discovery of a hidden hillside plot evolved into a carefully nurtured sanctuary. Building and renovating in a remote mountain setting demanded patience, perseverance, and respect for place, but the result was a retreat rooted in beauty and calm. Conceived as a dialogue between architecture and landscape, the design allows the land to lead every decision. This philosophy is most evident in the organically shaped infinity pool, which gently curves around existing trees—preserving every mature tree—while visually merging water, sky, and tea estates into a single, tranquil horizon.
The architecture remains deliberately understated, anchored by locally sourced stone, regional materials, and local craftsmanship that give the villa a timeless, earthy character. Spatial planning encourages an easy flow between indoors and outdoors, balancing openness with privacy, and luxury with restraint. Hospitality here is defined by thoughtfulness rather than excess—farm-fresh breakfasts, misty walks through tea trails, quiet lakeside moments, and evenings watching the hills shift in colour.
