Quest Description:
In a corner of Port Ormos. you and Paimon encounter friends whom you made during inaugural Nilotpala Cup Beast Tamers Tournament. They are currently preparing for the next tournament, and to that effect have come up with a new game with which to advertise for the Beast Tamers Tournament...
I must say I am quite disappointed on how they did this Flagship Event. The fact that there is no voice-acting doesn't help either. Then again, this was supposed to be only a promotional material for the next Beast Tamer Tournament in the future (Which I really hope they bring back).
They could have just stuck with the regular Theater Mechanicus with a few difficulty spikes here and there, while our Shroom Buddies would actually assists us, that would have been a lot more interesting and fun. Seriously, this Flagship Event is a let-down by far, especially for someone who prefers more lore stuffs over something miscellaneous.
It's just a shame because Fabulous Fungus Frenzy, which is the prequel of this was a whole lot fun. Part of it was because there is story about the Fungus and the tournament, which works well. I think Hoyoverse should stick with mini-games that is actually in their strong suit and more favored with the controls. I mean the Windblume's Breath was pretty nice, I quite enjoyed Floral Pursuit, giving it a bit of a Pac-man vibe, although I wish it could be a bit more thrilling.
Also, I think I'm on a drought right now when it comes to Genshin Impact, which is weird considering I have been playing this game for two years since it first launched. This is a strange feeling I have to say. If it wasn't for the Windblume Event, it would have been worse. I wish they could give us more Archon Quests really.
