I found PARADISE in Albacete [S1-E5]
I'm about to leave the beautiful city of Teruel in Spain, where I ended up staying for quite a bit longer than I expected.
I couldn't leave without making a little montage of the city I've never heard of. I've done many city breaks in my time and this was as good as any. I find, more and more, that visiting cities just ain't my bag anymore. I'd swap the crowds, consumerism, coffee shops and cake in a breath for some beautiful, breathtaking scenery..and cake. I'm thinking I need to break the habit of cities.
A little drive out and I visited the Cave Of Angels and was treated to a cool swim in the most picturesque pool I've ever been in.
I love my Honda CRF300 Rally, but I also love walking. This time I embark on a walk that's well within my tolerances/fitness level, as long as you ignore the elevation. Which I did. And I paid for it. It's also kind of important to take water with you. Now, I was taking water with me, and I had a bottle ready, but I forgot to pick it up. I was on high alert, as usual, for bears and snakes.
I'm loving the scenery as I explore this part of Spain in the Mercedes Sprinter self-built campervan. Like me, the campervan is suffering with the heat.
