Crazy busy MALLORCA and the Tramuntana MOUNTAINS [S1-E3]
You join me as I arrive in Alcudia, Mallorca by ferry from Sete in France.
My time here was mostly spent catching up with special friends from when I used to live in Mallorca, over twelve years ago. This time I didn't wild camp at all, but stayed on my friends drive (they have a pool. Of course I did 😊). They couldn't understand why I didn't want to sleep in the house, until I explained that I had my own super comfy home with me (I did tap on their kitchen window a couple of times to borrow a cup of sugar).
Riding my Honda CRF300 Rally along the coastline and up in the mountains, was truly epic. I didn't ride off-road much though. I found it difficult to find dirt bike tracks marked as 'easy'.
I was genuinely shocked at how busy the roads were in Mallorca for the time of year. As a result of all the extra traffic, the road to the Cap De Formentor (where the lighthouse is and many beautiful bays along the way) was closed to all traffic.
Oh, and I didn't fall off 😁 this time
