Hey guys! I want to share with you how I upgraded my second hand mac mini late 2014 with an external ssd hard drive, that increased mac mini late 2014 performance significantly. Even with newest OS monterey installed. I did some geeekbench test and ssd speed write read tests. First I tried to replace HDD with an nvme m2 ssd drive, but I bought an pcie nvme m2 adapter from aliexpress, that didnt work. So I had to creatively come up with a workaround by using external ssd drive as main ssd drive with mac os installed.
