Hitler's henchmen, the men in his inner circle, played a crucial role in the exercise of power and the crimes of the Third Reich. This group consisted of high-ranking Nazi officials who were not only fiercely loyal to Hitler but also zealously implemented his murderous ideologies. These men included figures such as Heinrich Himmler, who, as Reichsführer-SS, was responsible for the concentration camps; Joseph Goebbels, who, as Minister of Propaganda, disseminated Nazi ideology; and Hermann Göring, who, as head of the Luftwaffe and Commissioner for the Four-Year Plan, directed the German war economy. They were not only his closest confidants but also the architects and executors of one of the darkest chapters in human history.
In this video, we will take a brief look at some of these men and their roles within Hitler's inner circle.
