The Best Sunrise of 2021
I think this is the best sunrise I've seen in 2021--and that's not clickbait. I went to Grand Haven in Michigan to photograph the lighthouse there, for a second time on this channel. I get that it's a repeat, but since the last trip ended up being foggy, I didn't get a chance to shoot it as I'd intended. I thought that this could make for a good example of how images can tell stories, and how those stories can vary depending on the circumstances we experience when we're there. A cloudy day is going to be a different shoot from a foggy day, for example. I'm pleased with the sunrise photos that I ended up with, from perhaps the most successful Lake Michigan trip that I've had this year.
