Of all the times I've been in Italy/Sicily, I've never visited Rome. I'm so glad I did this time as it was as magnificent as they say. I've never been to a place where you look right and you see a 2000 year old structure and then look left and see something built in the last 10 years. The contrast is amazing to see. Between the history, beauty, and food it is a sensory overload when you are there.
Some sites visited:
Spanish steps
Piazza di Spagna
Fontana di Trevi (Fountain of Trevi)
Roman Pantheon
Roman Forum
L'arco di Tito (Arch of Titus)
Il Colosseo (The Colosseum)
L'arco di Constantino (Arch of Constantine)
Rome streets
