EMBRACE THE FUTURE OF DENTISTRY
Dept. of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Annoor Dental College & Hospital, Muvattupuzha successfully organised a workshop on intraoral scanners titled "EMBRACE THE FUTURE OF DENTISTRY" on 26-07-24 in the college auditorium TM Seethy hall. The guest speaker was Dr. Tanay Dubey MDS (Product specialist at Unicorn Dentmart). He elaborated on the various intricacies in CAD CAM workflow. He talked in great detail about the various milling techniques and about surgical guides. Dr. Manu Johns (Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, Annoor Dental College) spoke on 3D printing, the various options and opportunities pertaining to the technology with respect to dentistry. The lectures were followed by live demonstration and hand- on for participants. The event was widely appreciated by all participants and was deemed to be very informative about the latest developments in digital dentistry.
