Video shows skydiving plane in terrifying incident before fatal Hawaii crash
Newly-released footage shows a terrifying mid-air incident that took place on a skydiving plane three years before it crashed in Hawaii, killing 11 people.
The 2016 incident forced the 14 skydivers onboard to jump earlier than planned after the plane stalled three times and spun repeatedly.
The pilot at the time eventually managed to land the aircraft safely, according to an investigative report by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The same plane crashed and burned on Oahu island’s north shore in Hawaii after it appeared to turn back following take-off.
