Google Docs Voice Typing Not Working? Try These Fixes!
Here are the steps to fix Google Docs Voice typing not working.
Let’s assume that your microphone and voice recording work fine for other programs.
Check Microphone Access
First, you should check if your microphone is allowed access in your browser settings.
In Google Chrome, click on the three dots on the top right. Choose Settings in the dropdown menu.
On the left panel, choose Privacy and security.
Then choose Site Settings.
Next, choose Microphone.
Make sure that Sites can ask to use your microphone option is selected.
Ensure that microphone access is enabled for Google Docs.
Then select Google Docs under Allowed to use your microphone.
Under permissions, make sure that Microphone is allowed.
Update Your Browser
Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.
In Google Chrome, click on the three dots on the top right. Choose Help in the dropdown menu.
Next Select About Google Chrome.
If an update is available, the browser will download and install it automatically. After the update, make sure to relaunch the browser.

Choose Send feedback to Google.
On the next page click on report an issue.
