Large Language Models (LLMs) in Ophthalmology (14 May 2024)
Large language models (LLMs) have rapidly advanced, demonstrating remarkable potential for transforming numerous fields, including medicine. This presentation will explore the fundamentals of LLMs and their training methods from a clinician's perspective. We will also examine the evaluation of LLMs within medicine and ophthalmology, their current performance in medical question answering, and their promising future as smart agents in clinical settings.
