The Crunchy Badger, Natural Foraging Behaviour Video
Glad it's time for 30 Days Wild (with The Wild Life Trust) and BBC Springwatch, both inspire us to go out more often at this time of year hoping to stumble on something amazing in nature.
We had an awesome natural wildlife moment in a small Lincolnshire wood with a pair of young badgers foraging for snails.
We were so lucky the badgers didn't hear us before we heard them rustling in the nettles which gave us a few minutes of unadulterated pleasure watching and listening to badgers foraging and eating snails within a meter of where we stood!
Filmed on June 5th 2019 at 9:10pm with a Nokia smartphone with no zoom (my arm is the zoom :-)), the badgers were within touching distance. For several minutes they had no idea we were there, was awesome.
