Another game like the last one where the central field was pivotal in the game. My opponent in green gave an early indication in the game that they wanted to own this field. They must have been reading my Golden rules!
As the game progresses it becomes more evident that we both needed to own the field to ultimately win the game as we had both deployed too many farmers early on to own it. Sometimes if an opponent wants to own a field early on in the game you can trap them in the field with 2 or more followers and only 2-3 cities. That wasn’t possible in this game as the field was ‘open’.
