How to win Carcassonne: Advanced strategy (ELO 1700 - 2000) - game 6
After the shambolic, narrow victory in Winter is coming - Carcassonne Master needed to refocus on the journey ahead. Signs of Spring emerge with this tactically sound game.
My dislike of monasteries/cloisters (because they are easy to block) shows in this game. My opponent seems to like them.
Some advanced players use Monasteries successfully. For my gamestyle though I usually prefer other choices. It does however, depend on the stage of the game and you will see me use them sparingly.
I certainly would not have 3 on the go at once though and my opponent pays the price.
