How to win Carcassonne: Intermediate strategy (ELO 1550 - 1575) - game 8
Game #8 - Intermediate
Carcassonne Master is starting to face tougher opponents who are using their own strategies and rules.
So far, we’ve gone from a Beginner with 1200 ELO to 1550 ELO without too many issues (2 games have been lost so far out of 18 played). The leaderboard is still a long way away - but the task at the moment is to focus and reach 1600 ELO on our quest.
Lady luck lends a helping hand in this close game with a tile that prevents my opponent finishing a large city and allows me to escape a defeat by a narrow margin.
