BAT CRAZY|THE BAT BRIDGE OF AUSTIN
We spent the late afternoon walking around downtown Austin. As we headed back, over the Congress Avenue Bridge...we came across lots of people standing on this bridge above and below. They were all waiting to see the bats emerge from the bridge after sunset. To my surprise there were hundreds of people! What a wild and weird experience! People were everywhere! Below the bridge is Lady Bird Lake. The lake will filled with people on double decker boats, tiny boats, canoes, and paddle boats! This was definitely and experience I can check off of my bucket list!
