MY FIRST EQUIPMENT AUCTION
This was my first time attending an auction! I kept my eyes open and my ears peeled backwards! The Texas heat was draining but my baseball cap, ice water and Gatorade kept me stable! Being apart of this auction as a spectator was exciting but also nerve wracking. Thank goodness there was a real time monitor outside of the Auctioneer’s mobile office (on the lower right side). I was able to see the price of the item if I didn’t understand the Auctioneer’s lingo! Later that evening when I viewed the auction online, surprisingly the Auctioneer’s voice was so soothing, I fell asleep. Perhaps it was from all of the walking I had done earlier that day. Either way, I salute the Auctioneer David E. Anton! His voice never wavered from when I first heard him earlier that morning. Wow!!
