Copycat Popeye’s Cajun Rice
If you like copycat recipes, the Copycat Popeye’s Cajun Rice is one for the books! It is really good. I know some people do not like gizzards so it will still be delicious if you omit them.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup chicken gizzards (optional)
1/2 cup finely diced green Pepper
1/3 cup sliced green onion
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp celery flakes
1 tsp creole seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 4 cups long grain rice, cooked and drained
1/4 -1/3 cup water
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
