Naritasan Park is a large garden of 165,000 square meters using the hilly land behind the Main Hall of Shinsho-ji Temple completed in 1928. Naritasan Calligraphy Art Museum is attached. Approximately 350 cherry trees planted in the garden will reflect its beautiful appearance in the park’s pond at the time of flowering. They will please blossom viewers to visit.
There are also plenty of red plums and white plums about 500, Azalea, Satsuki, Momiji etc, and you can enjoy the flowers of every season. Every year the “Plum Festival” is held, and on Sundays and public holidays there are Japanese music performances, tea ceremonies and sweet alcoholic hospitality.
