Nigerians Hit With 24-hour Curfew Amid INTENSE Protests
Millions of locals in northern Nigeria have been given 24-hour curfews.
It comes after nationwide protests have been taking place this week against the high cost of living crisis affecting millions of citizens.
Authorities said "hoodlums" hijacked the protests in order to loot and vandalise properties.
Police sprayed tear gas at individuals as thousands of mainly young people took to the streets in different cities.
