How do blind people hike?
As a visually impaired person who loves the outdoors, there are plenty of times when I push myself to do hard things like rock climbing, cycling and endurance activities. But sometimes it's nice just to kick back and enjoy being in nature with minimal stress. Hiking on 4x4 roads is one “hack” my partner, Becca, and I have found that allows both of us to enjoy the outing without her calling out every rock, stump and ledge we encounter.
