Accutane Diary: Day 38 (Week 6, Month2)
So this is day 38, week 6 and month 2 of my Isotretinoin treatment. Also know as Accutane, more specifically for me, Claravis. I'm on 2 pills of 30mg, so 60mg. I ran out of my first month prescription last Friday(today's Saturday) then on Monday I went to the dermatologist and got my second month prescription. I went to the pharmacy and realized I forgot to answer the IPledge questions, so make sure you don't forget if your a girl. I couldn't get my prescription until Tuesday and after 3 days of not being on it I actually broke out. They healed quickly though and I have nothing active right now. I also have been getting really dry flaky skin on my face and had to use Eucerin Hand Creme so I'm going to put my Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream in a little container to bring with me. My body has also been very dry and I didn't have my Kiss My Face Honey Calendula Ultra Moisturizer for extra dry skin with me so I had to use the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and it worked amazing! Besides that my eyes have been getting very dry and itchy and irritated so I've been using Refresh Liquigel Lubricant Eye Drops extra strength gel drops for dry eyes. They have been working very well. My back has also been hurting and it's become a problem since I play the violin and have to stand up straight.
