Accutane Diary: Day 72 (Week 11, Month 3)
So, it's day 72, week11 and month 3 of my Isotretinoin treatment. I'm on Claravis, but it is also known as Accutane, Sotret, Amnesteem, Clearacne, Roaccutane, etc. Last week I said how the rash on my hands was going away, due to using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, which worked awesome. Unfortunately I skipped a few days of using it and the rash is now on both hands. Hopefully it won't spread to my arms.:P My nose has been getting dry so I will have to start my whole nose moisturizing routine again with the anti-biotic cream and maybe the saline spray occasionally. I got the Clarisonic Mia 2 a few weeks ago and I said it wasn't too rough on my skin, but my skin is now just too sensitive for it. Everything was great at first, my skin was soft and smooth and it wasn't dry but then it started getting really irritated. I went like 9 days without breaking out but then the day before I made this video I got a small pimple on my chin. I've also noticed my nails have been growing really fast. I'm not sure if I'm just imagining or what, but they used to grow really slow and I'd only have to clip them every month or even two, now I have to clip them like every two weeks. My lips are also getting really badly chapped. They have been pealing and burning. It's probably because I lost my Carmex.:) I have also gotten two swollen lymph nodes in the past week or so. It's probably because I'm sick, because your lymph nodes usually get swollen when your sick, but I associate them with Accutane because they're basically like really big cystic pimples in your armpits.lol Anyways that's it.
