Sometimes a new item empowers very potent combos...
Tainted Pact plus Slayer overleech turns the already good Forbidden Taste unique flask into an absolute monster, instantly recovering almost all your life then applying a powerful heal-over-time effect.
All you need is to keep leeching. Or at least, to have enough buffer that if you do stop leeching, you don't die. I think you will want slightly positive chaos resist, around positive 20%, as a sweet spot with great healing and safety if your leeching suddenly fails.
Just give the "cannot leech life or mana from monsters" map mods to someone else.
Be aware this item's rarity isn't yet known. It might be common, it might be very, very rare.
