What’s an animatic?
An animatic is an early version of a film/animation tending to highlight key motions and actions throughout each scene. Oftentimes these will be made up of pictures from a storyboarded idea with music and voiced lines synced to it. Animatics help steer the product in the right direction!
Besides the animatic, I thought I would also share some of the other parts of the animation process, including a couple time-lapses of the painted backgrounds, some deleted scenes that didn’t quite make the cut, and how I created Goku’s many gi designs.
