POWER GAUNTLET
It's just a peaceful day at the market festival. What kind of oddities could occur?
The idea behind this animation was to give myself about a month to complete the project, which I did. Roughly. Not quite!
To help compensate for this deadline (which I made!), I tried out a more simplistic style with very limited color. Mostly shades of grays were used. I also experimented with smear frame animation.
I can't say I know exactly what sparked the idea of the "power gauntlet." Possibly something to do with the recent release of the MCU's Avengers: End Game. Or I was just thinking about Nintendo's 1980's Power Glove, which was used to play NES games in a different fashion and a controller that perfectly fits your hand! Well, the Power Gauntlet has neither of the same properties of the Infinity Gauntlet or Power Glove. Rather the ability to blast powerful beams of some sort of energy force.
