Ball Impacts Biomimetic Jelly
This is a basic example of a partial transfer of kinetic energy from a ball, to energy transfer into the biomimetic gelatin. The analysis at the end of the video is called Digital Image Correlation, which is a full-field strain measurement, which uses the speckles on the surface of the gelatin to determine how the surface is deforming and/or straining.
