THE TEMPLES OF SELINUNTE
Europe's largest archaeological site in the heart of Sicily, a 270-hectare expanse documenting over 2,500 years of history. Seven temples, some in good condition, built according to the rigorous Doric order, the oldest Greek architectural style. Also included are sanctuaries, necropolises, the Cusa quarries, and all the other attractions within the Selinunte Archaeological Park.
