Schlesisches Tor was formerly the terminus of the original section of the U-Bahn during the Cold War, as it was the last station in West Berlin. The elevated station is built on a very curvy section of the line, with a curve in the station followed by two 90 degree reverse turns taking trains onto the Oberbaumbrüke to the Warschauer Straße terminus. Here we see pre-unification A3E and A3L92 trains alongside new IK trains on the U1 and U3 lines.
