Trains at Princeton Junction
Free NJ Transit offered and opportunity to go out to Princeton Junction to catch trains along the Jersey Speedway. Catching the back half of the rush hour and into the evening, we see NJ Transit NEC trains heading for New York and Trenton, the Dinky shuttling back and forth to Princeton, and a variety of Amtraks heading for Boston, New York, Harrisburg and Washington, including Acelas passing at 150 MPH. In addition, we catch a NJ Transit deadhead to Morrisville, the NJ Transit track geometry car, and one of Amtrak’s Amelia Liberty trains on test.
