How to Record a Macro in Excel to Fix Problems with an Imported Text File
In this tutorial, I respond to a viewer who has a problem: He receives a monthly main-frame computer generated report that is difficult to manipulate. The field headers - AND each record are reported on two lines with a blank row separating each record.
In order to work with this data - to produce intelligent reports - he has relied on "cut and paste" and delete rows. He has asked me to help him to minimize this drudgery each month.
I suggest that he learns how to record a simple MACRO in Excel to minimize this monthly chore.
