Exploring - Graffiti Highway in Centralia PA
This is Graffiti Highway (aka PA 61) before it was covered with mounds of dirt in 2020 to hinder people from visiting. It is located in the now condemned town of Centralia, PA. This was a coal mining town that had to be abandoned due to underground coal fires burning since 1962. As a result there have been many sinkholes and cracks rendering the whole town and highway unstable and dangerous.
