The Execution Of John Amery - The Second-Rate Lord Haw Haw
Throughout the Second World War there were many men who turned their backs on their nations and sided with the enemy. One such British man was John Amery, the son of a MP. Amery travelled to Germany and he made pro-Nazi propaganda and also even tried to set up a unit of British men to fight for the Wehrmacht and Hitler. He was eventually brought back to Britain and was condemned and executed for 8 counts of high treason.
