The Hungarian Revolution of 1956 saw a huge amount of terror brought to the nation. But one of the leaders of the revolt was Pal Maleter, an experienced Military commander and leader. He had a deep history with the armed forces during World War 2, but was captured by Stalin's forces and was then executed by pole hanging.
