One of the most brutal events in English History saw King Charles I lose his head being executed after his defeat following the English Civil War. But following his death there was a huge problem as no-one knew where was suitable to bury him. He was actually buried in secret in the same vault as Henry VIII, but centuries after his execution his grave was disturbed.
