UBUNTU 23.10: The repository ...no longer has a Release file. Updated /etc/apt/sources.list
Happens when I try to run ubuntu updates on my kubuntu 23.10
This is the error message:
the repository http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu mantic-security Release' no longer has a release file
Just need to update the /etc/apt/sources.list file so that it has the correct repositories.
I was using ubuntu 23.10, but it is old and now running ubuntu 24.04 (I mean the update servers.)
THERE IS PROBABLY AN EASIER METHOD, but:
Need to update entries so it shows "old-releases.ubuntu.com"

Again, there is probably an easier way of doing this.. updating the update repo's to use old-releases.ubuntu.com instead of manually updating the sources.list file.
Good luck. Of course this problem will be solved by updating to the latest version of Ubuntu...
