Calls to strengthen existing policies to address racism in schools
Twelve pupils who were suspended for alleged racism at Pretoria High School for Girls have been found not guilty, following a disciplinary hearing. Wits Centre for Diversity Studies' Prof. Melissa Steyn, and Stellenbosch University's Dr Jerome Joorst unpack whether there is enough policy looking at racism or discrimination of any kind in schools.
