Cavern Bridge: Death Valley Discoveries Ep. 10
On November 24, 2016, Steve Hall discovered Cavern Bridge in the Black Mountains of Death Valley National Park. This was the fourth major natural bridge that Steve discovered and it was located in a very hard to reach dark cavern in the upper portion of Sidewinder Slot #1, past a major dry fall which stops nearly all hikers. In January of 2024, Steve returns with his friend Jordan to attempt a through hike of Sidewinder Slot #1 all the way to the ridge, something very few hikers have done (or have the ability to do), which would allow him to once again visit Cavern Bridge. This hike and climb is not recommended for the general public due to the challenging environment and obstacles within the cavern.
