The Bottle Rockets go way back. Riding the wave of the music biz transformations of the last 20 or so years, the BRs have managed to shoot the tube and come out the other side still rockin'. These St. Louis favorite sons have been just about everywhere and done just about everything, but the one constant thread is that anyone that makes a show has a great time. Genre? Hmm... I don't know, how about fun? How about loud, butt-moving, foot stomping, get-me-another-beer-why-don't-ya rock with a country cousin? Or maybe their genre is just show up and let the music speak for itself?
Here in their second featured episode, Bottle Rocketeers front man Brian Henneman and drummer Mark Ortmann hang out with STL blues rockers Jeremiah Johnson and Jeff Girardier from the Jeremiah Johnson Band and discuss reasons to experience live music (exercise, its better, and speaker size) among other things.
