Bought on Ebay in 2009, pair of these speakers arrived broken to my home - especially the one in the photos.
I couldn't put it on the table because of the leg damage 0:42.
But fixed it with the help of this video • How To Plastic Weld and Fix Broken Or Crac... (thank you very much Genevo9).
I used a soldering iron, sponge (it was dirty after use, so got the new one for conventional soldering), steel wool and wooden block 2:13.
Welding the plastic is very toxic I think, so if you will do it, open the windows and ventilate the room well.
Cracks inside the cabinet 1:03.
Wooden block stabilizes the broken plastic part inside the box during the welding 1:10.
Welded cracks from 1:18 onwards; inside 1:38; finished result 2:00 - steel wool is impregnated with plastic.
Music: Shostakovich 7. symphony (excerpt); played by KORG M1-EX, Steamsynth (modified). Ufff, it's not easy to synchronize playing without a click.
