Tasting Acetaldehyde As An Off Flavor In Beer
We give a taste to my latest batch of Best Bitter. I love Best Bitters. I love English Ales. But I suspect I am a little out of practice or just a little too busy outside the brew house. I didn't stay on top of my fermentation as I normally would and I think this beer suffered because of it with some poor post ferment conditioning, cold temps causing the English Yeast to flocculate a little too early.
