Do you want to get more art commissions but your potential clients ghost you all the time? I've been there but after 10+ years of selling art commissions online I've learned the 3 things that keep clients away, and how to fix them so you can get more commissions.
If you're ready to start making money online from your art or you're already selling commissions and you want to scale it, this video is for you! You'll learn the one thing you may be doing that's keeping clients from commissioning you and the 3 things you can do to STOP it and close the sale every.single.time. ✦ Tip #1: Don't offer unnecessary options or commission styles
When you offer too many options, your clients get overwhelmed and confused and they leave empty handed. Reduce your commisson options to the minimum to make the buying process easier and a no-brainer.
✦ Tip #2: Use cohesive samples
Nothing pushes a client away more than not knowing what they're going to receive if they commission you. Keep your samples cohesive so that there's no doubt in your client's mind what they're going to receive if they hire your services as an artist. The more cohesive your samples look, the higher the odds your client will follow through with their order. Cha-ching!
✦ Tip #3: Make pricing clear, upfront
If your pricing is clear and straightforward, your clients can know upfront how much it's going to cost and they will be happy to commission you. However, if your pricing is complicated and when they contact you to commission you, you quote them a sum that's much higher than what your public pricing led them to believe, you're going to lose them. Not because it's much more expensive, but because they don't really understand why your public pricing made them believe it would cost X and you're quoting them Y. And, you know the drill...
A confused mind always says NO.
So make sure you implement these 3 changes to your commission offerings to make clients feel 100% confident in commissioning you by removing any friction or confusion from the buying process :)
When I implemented these strategies in my own commisions, I saw a drastic increase in how many commissions I sold and how much confidence clients had in working with me.
I also encourage new Artcorgi.com artists to follow these tips to ensure they boost their sales as well.
